I dont usually plan anything, which makes this a fucking surprise in itself. My twin brother and I stumbled on that we BOTH love the idea of 4x4/overlanding... we also have adult autonomy, remote jobs, and access to a fuck ton of national park across North America. SO what do we do with that?
Buy 2 mid 90s Toyota Land Cruisers and fuckin GO. Obviously.
We bought the first one, she's a fuckin beaut in a delightfully rubbish blue sitting on 35in tires.

These suvs.... they arent suvs they are tanks. You can wrench on this thing anywhere, it'll keep going. This cunt thrives in the outback. Luckily, I live in a great area for access to plenty of places to get practice in.
I'm fuckin KEEN on this whole thing. Usually I am a flights-to-go-places guy, the kid in me is loving the road trips - thats all we used to do growing up, its how my adventure lust kicked off. What I love heaps about this old cruiser, they dont accelerate for shit.... but you don't care, its a vibe. You're takin life in with no rush anyway. Fuck yeah buddy.
This is kind of a hobby, but with time and experience, the end goals are:
- Across the US via the TransAmerican trail
- South America via the Pan American highway
